Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.
And this is becoming a growing problem, I think, because n

EDIT: $50 achieved because of this lovely lady!

Thank you SO much! He is going to the vet Friday of next week! Again, thank you all so much for helping me get this far in helping my baby ;w; lots of pictures of him when I'm able to get my camera.

EDIT: $30 out of the amount I need!
EDIT:He's gotten worse than before and is in
extreme need of the assistance.
He's just coughed up blood that is more severe than just a hard-cough symptom. :\ He's gotten to the point where he barely wants to move.

All my adoptables will be selling for a larger amount of points from now until I have the amount I need.

REASON(s) WHY:

My cat is really sick and my mom won't pay for him because she doesn't like him. :\
He's my baby. He sleeps with me every night, he always stays by my side. So it just kills me when I can see he's in pain.

The amount I need is about $50-70. For both the check-up and the medicine.

Prices will normally be: 150+ for all edits, 200 for customs. I want to get him to the Vet as soon as possible. :/

you really need to get him in soon. keep him iscolaited from other pets make sure he is eating. he has to eat. if he doesn't there can be damage if he isn't eating give him wet food. if that doesn't work heat it for 9 seconds try again, syringe feed him through the side of his mouth if you half too. mix wet food with a bit of water and heat for 9 seconds
